ColorVu is Hikvision's technology for recording in colour 24 hours a day. A wide F1.0 lens and a sensitive sensor pull in far more light than a normal camera. When it gets truly dark, a built-in warm white light lights the scene, so you get colour instead of grainy black and white.
Which ColorVu camera is right for me?
ColorVu 3.0 adds Smart Hybrid Light: infrared and white lights in the same camera. In smart mode it stays discreet on infrared and switches to colour when it detects something.
- HiLook ColorVu 3.0 (HAA series): IPC-T229HAA-LU, IPC-B129HAA-LU (2MP), IPC-T249HAA-LU, IPC-B149HAA-LU, IPC-D149HAA-LU (4MP). Colour at night at a lower cost, with the option of infrared only.
- HiLook ColorVu (HA series): IPC-T229HA-LU, IPC-B129HA-LU, IPC-T249HA-LU, IPC-B149HA-LU, with built-in microphones.
- HiLook 8MP / 12MP ColorVu: IPC-T280HA-LUF/SL, IPC-T2120HAP-LUF/SL and B-series bullets with active deterrence (strobe and siren).
- HiLook ColorVu Lite for coax: THC-T129-MS, THC-T159-MS, THC-B159-MS and more, for HD-TVI DVR systems.
- Hikvision ColorVu: the professional range, with AcuSense detection, higher frame rates and longer-reaching light.
All IP models are PoE (one cable for power and picture) and work with HiLook and Hikvision NVRs.
