Fire Alarms

We supply fire alarm equipment to installers, electricians and businesses in England, Scotland and Wales. Our fire alarm range is from Fike and is built around the Twinflex Pro system: control panels, ready-made kits, detectors, sounders, call points and the spare parts that go with them. We are a fire alarm supplier based in Wolverhampton, in the West Midlands, and we send orders out from there.

Fire alarm equipment in this range

  • Panels and kits – Twinflex Pro panels in 2, 4 and 8 zone sizes, a kit for each size, a 4–8 zone expander and a conventional expansion card. See fire alarm panels and kits.
  • Detectors – Twinflex Multipoint detectors (with or without a built-in sounder), SITA Multipoint detectors and mounting bases. See fire alarm panel detectors.
  • Sounders and call points – Twinflex Hatari (red or white), Multipoint, HiPoint IP65 and Flashpoint sounders, plus standard and weatherproof manual call points, covers and test keys.
  • Extinguishing control – the Twinflex SRP panel, remote status indicator, modules, manual release units and connecting leads. See extinguishing equipment.
  • Spares and accessories – head removal tools, spare panel keys, a battery kit, a remote indicator and an input/output module.

What “two-wire” means

On a Twinflex Pro system, each zone uses one circuit for both the detectors and the sounders. In plain terms, you run one pair of wires around each zone instead of separate circuits for detection and for the alarm. The Twinflex Pro panel is listed as working with earlier Twinflex devices, which helps if you are extending or updating an existing Twinflex system.

Choosing detectors

Smoke detectors are not right for every room. A kitchen normally needs a heat detector, because cooking can set off a smoke sensor. Hallways and escape routes usually need smoke or multi-sensor detection. The building’s fire risk assessment, and the person designing the system, should set the final specification.

Looking for a single smoke alarm for a home rather than a panel system? Our standalone wireless smoke alarms, such as the HiLook HL-S3E, are listed with our alarm detectors.

Buying fire alarm equipment from us

Orders placed before 2:30pm are normally dispatched for delivery within 1–2 working days to England, Scotland and Wales. We do not ship to Northern Ireland. If you are near Wolverhampton and would rather collect or see equipment at our trade counter, see fire alarm equipment in Wolverhampton.
