Fike 204-0003 Twinflex Multipoint ASD Detector
The Fike 204-0003 is the detector-only version of the Twinflex Multipoint ASD, a 2-wire smoke and heat detector for Fike Twinflex and TwinflexPro2 fire alarm systems. Standalone sounders and sounder beacons can be wired on the same two cores, so audible and visual devices are added where they are needed without separate cabling.
One device suits most areas of a building. At commissioning the installer selects one of seven modes with a switch: three smoke modes, two fixed-temperature heat modes, a rate-of-rise heat mode or a combined smoke-or-heat mode. Where a sounder is wanted at the detector itself, the 204-0001 version adds an integral 90 dB(A) sounder.
Key features
- Seven switch-selectable detection modes
- Optical smoke chamber and thermistor heat sensor
- Flags a contaminated head to the panel before it can lead to a false alarm
- LED flash rates show normal, end-of-line, fault and fire states
- Detector head is easy to remove for maintenance at height
- Housing flammability rating UL94-V2
