Fike 505-0008 TwinflexPro2 8-Zone 2-Wire Fire Alarm Control Panel
The Fike 505-0008 is the 8-zone control panel in the TwinflexPro2 range, Fike's intelligent two-wire fire alarm system. Each zone needs only one pair of wires, and Multipoint ASD detectors (with or without built-in sounder and strobe), standalone sounders, sounder beacons and manual call points all connect to that same circuit. Fewer cable runs and fewer installation points make the system quicker to install, and with eight zones on board the panel suits larger sites without extra expansion cards.
The panel shows whether an alarm came from a smoke detector, a heat detector or a call point, and gives a separate fault indication for every zone. Checkpoint alarm confirmation lets each zone be set as a dwelling or a communal area: a dwelling zone can run a local pre-alarm of 1 to 5 minutes so the cause can be checked before the building is evacuated, while a communal zone goes straight to full alarm. Two conventional sounder circuits, volt-free fire and fault relays and a monitored input are also built in, and settings can be programmed from the keypad or with Fike's PC-based OSP software.
