VoIP phones, also called IP phones or VoIP handsets, make and receive calls over a network connection instead of an analogue telephone line, and are used as office and business phones. VoIP stands for voice over internet protocol. A SIP phone is a VoIP phone that uses the SIP standard to register with a compatible phone system or VoIP service.

Choose a type:

• IP desk phones, for a desk or reception;
• DECT and wireless IP phones, for cordless and Wi-Fi calling around a site;
• Microsoft Teams phones, built for Microsoft Teams calling;
• VoIP phone accessories, which mount, power or extend a phone.

To choose, start with your phone system or VoIP service, because the phone has to work with it. Then compare how the phone is powered (power over Ethernet from a PoE switch, see Data Networking, or a separate power supply), how many lines or SIP accounts it supports, the screen, and Bluetooth or headset options. Each product page lists the specification. If you are unsure which phone suits your setup, contact us before ordering.
