A HiLook camera system from Zenith Security Co is built around the cameras you need. HiLook is Hikvision's value range: simple, reliable cameras and recorders that are easy to set up, with prices shown to everyone. Pick your HiLook cameras in the builder above and it matches the recorder, hard drive, power and cables, so every part works together.

We are a supplier, not an installer, trading since 2012 from our showroom and trade counter in Wolverhampton, and we supply installers, businesses and homeowners across England, Scotland and Wales.

What a HiLook CCTV system includes

  • HiLook cameras. Turrets, bullets and domes, in IP or HD over coax, with infrared or colour night vision.
  • A HiLook recorder. An NVR for IP cameras or a DVR for HD over coax, with enough channels and resolution for the cameras you chose.
  • Power. HiLook IP NVRs in the builder have PoE ports to power the cameras; if you add more cameras than ports, the builder adds Ruijie Reyee PoE switches. Coax cameras get 12 V power supplies.
  • A hard drive. Sized for the number of days of recording you want to keep.
  • Cables. A 20 m network cable or ready-made BNC cable per camera, plus short patch leads for IP kits.

You can also add a HiLook monitor to watch the cameras on site.

IP or HD over coax for a HiLook system

IP (network) systems use HiLook IP cameras and a HiLook PoE NVR. One network cable per camera carries power and video. The IP range in the builder runs from 2MP to 12MP, and many models give colour pictures at night.

HD over coax systems use HiLook HD-TVI cameras and a HiLook DVR over RG59 coax, so you can often reuse the cable from an older analogue system.

How many cameras can a HiLook system have?

HiLook IP NVRs in the builder have 4, 8 or 16 channels, with a PoE port for each channel. HiLook DVRs for HD over coax go up to 32 channels. Leave a few spare channels if you might add cameras later.

HiLook camera system FAQs

Is HiLook made by Hikvision?

Yes. HiLook is Hikvision's value brand, with its own cameras and recorders. A HiLook system uses HiLook cameras and a HiLook recorder.

Can I see HiLook prices without an account?

Yes. HiLook prices are shown to everyone in the builder and on product pages.

Can I build a HiLook system with HD over coax cameras?

Yes. The builder offers HiLook IP systems with a PoE NVR and HiLook HD-TVI systems with a DVR, which suit sites that already have coax cable.

Do I need a PoE switch?

Not usually for IP. HiLook NVRs in the builder have a PoE port for each channel. If you add more cameras than the NVR has ports, the builder adds a Ruijie Reyee PoE switch.

How does the builder choose the hard drive size?

You choose how many days of recording to keep and whether to record all the time or on movement, and the builder sizes the drive for your cameras.

Where do you deliver and how long does it take?

We deliver to England, Scotland and Wales, normally within 1–2 working days. We do not deliver to Northern Ireland.
