How to build an Ajax alarm kit
Start from an Ajax kit, or skip it. A kit gives you the Hub and a starter set of devices in one box.
Choose the Hub if you didn't pick a kit. One Hub runs the whole alarm.
Add keypads, motion detectors and door contacts: one motion detector per room or hallway, one contact per outside door.
Add sirens and key fobs, then smoke, heat, CO and leak detectors that report to the same app.

Do I have to start with an Ajax kit?
No. The kit step is optional. Skip it and choose the Hub and every device yourself.
Do Ajax detectors need wiring?
No. Ajax Jeweller devices are wireless and run on batteries. The Hub needs mains power and an internet connection.
Can I control an Ajax alarm from my phone?
Yes. Ajax alarms are set up and controlled in the free Ajax app.
