How to build a Hikvision intercom kit

1. Choose IP or 2-wire. IP for new installs; 2-wire to reuse the two wires of an old doorbell or intercom.
2. Start from a Hikvision intercom kit, or skip it. A kit gives you a door station and an indoor monitor in one box.
3. Door stations, modules and mounting. A villa door station (video doorbell) for a house, or a modular panel with call buttons, keypad or card reader for flats and businesses, plus a surface box, flush box or rain hood.
4. Indoor monitors. One per flat, or one for each room you want to answer from. You can also answer from the Hik-Connect app.
5. 2-wire distributors and power for 2-wire systems, or Hikvision PoE switches for IP systems. The builder counts your devices and marks the switch with enough PoE ports.

Hikvision video doorbell or modular door station?

For a single house, a Hikvision villa door station works as a video doorbell: one call button, a camera and two-way audio, answered on an indoor monitor or your phone. For flats, offices and shared entrances, a modular door station lets you add a call button per flat, a keypad for PIN entry, a card reader for fobs and a nametag module. Hikvision intercom prices

Hikvision prices are shown to registered customers. Create an account (general or trade) and, once signed in, the builder shows your prices and you can buy the whole kit. Approved trade accounts get trade pricing in the basket. Without an account you can still build the kit and send us the list for a quote. IP or 2-wire Hikvision intercom?

Hikvision makes two current 2-wire ranges: 2-wire IP (model numbers ending in Y) and 2-wire HD (ending in EY), plus an older first-generation range for extending existing systems. They do not mix, so the builder keeps them apart.
