What the Lexstar terminal does

A GSM fixed wireless terminal takes a SIM card and gives a dial tone over the mobile network instead of a landline. It matters on sites where no copper line exists, or where one has been withdrawn, but a telephone, PBX or alarm panel still expects to dial out.

• One GSM channel with two RJ-11 ports for extensions.
• Connects to an ordinary telephone, a PBX, a VoIP gateway or an alarm system.
• Caller ID, with an LCD showing time, date and battery capacity.
• 3 metre SMA antenna, and LED indicators for working status and signal strength.
• Works on GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz. A backup Li-ion battery is listed as optional.
