Uniview CCTV Kits

A Uniview CCTV kit is a camera system you put together from Uniview (UNV) cameras, a matching recorder and everything needed to connect it. Our online kit builder does the matching for you, so you only choose the cameras.

Zenith Security Co. has supplied CCTV equipment since 2012 from our Wolverhampton showroom and trade counter. We are a supplier, not an installer. Uniview is sold at trade prices to trade account holders.

Build your Uniview CCTV kit

What a Uniview CCTV kit includes

A complete Uniview camera kit has five parts. The builder adds each one based on the cameras you pick.

  • Cameras. Uniview IP cameras or Uniview HD analogue cameras, in bullet, dome, turret or eyeball styles.
  • A recorder. An NVR for IP cameras or an XVR for coax cameras, with enough channels and resolution for your cameras.
  • Power. Ruijie Reyee PoE switches for IP systems, or power supplies for coax cameras.
  • A hard drive. Sized for the number of days of recording you want to keep.
  • Cables. Network cable for IP cameras or coax cable for analogue cameras.

IP or HD over coax for a Uniview kit

The builder offers both types for Uniview.

IP. Each camera runs on one network cable that carries video and power (PoE). Many Uniview IP cameras add smart detection, such as cross line and intrusion detection. IP suits new installs and most homes and businesses.

HD over coax. Uniview HD analogue cameras use coax cable and a Uniview XVR recorder. This suits sites that already have coax cable in place, or where you want to replace an old analogue system without rewiring. The cameras need 12 V power, which the builder adds.

If you are not sure which to choose, read our guide to using the CCTV builder or call us on 01902 902251.
