Hikvision CCTV Kits

A Hikvision CCTV kit from Zenith Security Co is built around the cameras you choose. Pick your Hikvision cameras in our free kit builder and it matches a Hikvision NVR, PoE switches, a hard drive and cables, so every part works together. You can build a Hikvision camera kit online in a few minutes, or pick a ready-made kit from our range.

Build your Hikvision CCTV kit

We are a CCTV supplier, not an installer, trading since 2012, with a showroom and trade counter in Wolverhampton. Hikvision is sold at trade prices, which you see after logging in to a trade account.

What a Hikvision CCTV kit includes

Every Hikvision CCTV kit from the builder has the same core parts:

  • Cameras. Hikvision IP turrets, bullets and domes, from 4MP to 8MP, with ColorVu colour at night or infrared.
  • A recorder. A Hikvision AcuSense NVR with enough channels and resolution for your cameras.
  • PoE power. If the NVR cannot power every camera, the builder adds Ruijie Reyee PoE switches. You can choose "No switch" if you already have one.
  • A hard drive. Sized for the number of days of recording you want to keep.
  • Cables. 20 m network cables, one per camera.

The kit stays within one brand. That way the cameras, recorder and app all talk to each other. In the builder, Hikvision kits use IP cameras and NVRs, with one network cable per camera for power and video.

Which Hikvision cameras to pick for your kit

These cameras are all offered in the kit builder. Each one is a fixed lens IP camera that runs on PoE.

ColorVu models give colour pictures at night. AcuSense models sort people and vehicles from other movement, so you get fewer false alerts. Turrets and domes suit walls and soffits near the house. Bullets are a visible deterrent on driveways and yards. See the full Hikvision range or compare Hikvision camera series.

Hikvision recorders in the builder

The builder picks a Hikvision NVR with enough channels for your cameras. Here are some of the recorders it uses:

An NVR with PoE ports powers the cameras over the network cable. For the 32 channel model, or when you have more cameras than PoE ports, the builder adds PoE switches. Leave a few spare channels if you might add cameras later.

Ready-made Hikvision CCTV kits

If you would rather buy a boxed system, we stock a range of ready-made Hikvision kits in our CCTV kits section. For colour pictures at night, see our Hikvision ColorVu kits. A ready-made kit has a fixed number of cameras. The builder lets you choose the exact mix of cameras, recorder size and storage for your site.
