Fike 100-0011 Twinflex SRP Impulse Releasing Module (IRM)
The Fike 100-0011 IRM is the module that fires the Impulse Valve Operator (IVO) on an impulse valve container in a Fike Twinflex SRP suppression system. Three on-board capacitors are kept charged from the panel's releasing circuit, and once charged the module holds enough energy to fire one IVO and discharge the agent.
The IRM also keeps watch on the container. Inputs for a discharge pressure switch, a low bottle pressure switch and an IVO presence switch report a released state or a fault back to the SRP panel. Each IRM sits on a dedicated SRP zone set to "Release IRM", with up to six modules per zone talking to the panel over the Twinflex protocol. It suits Twinflex SRP panels from firmware V01.000.
Key features
- Controls an Impulse Valve Operator (IVO) on an impulse valve container
- Three capacitors charged from the SRP releasing circuit
- Discharge pressure input confirms the agent has been released
- Low bottle pressure and IVO presence inputs raise a fault at the panel
- Each input set as normally open or normally closed by DIL switch
- Status LEDs for release, disabled, discharge pressure, bottle pressure, IVO missing, power fault, fault and comms
- Up to 6 IRMs per SRP zone circuit
