Hikvision DS-1280ZJ-DM46(BLACK) - Junction Box for Mini Dome Camera

The Hikvision DS-1280ZJ-DM46/BLACK is a genuine Hikvision junction box in black, designed as a flush mount base for mini dome cameras such as the DS-2CD2525FWD-IS and DS-2CD2563G0-IS.

Who is it for?

Surface-mounted installs where the cable comes out of the wall or ceiling rather than through the camera base. The box raises the camera slightly off the surface and gives the cable tails and connectors somewhere enclosed to sit, so the joints stay dry and there is no visible cable loop.

The black finish is there to match black cameras and dark surfaces. On dark cladding or a black soffit it reads as part of the camera rather than a white lump beneath it.

What you'll need with it

• A matching camera. Junction boxes are model-specific — the mounting holes and diameter have to line up. Send us the camera model and we will confirm before you order.
• Fixings for the substrate — the box carries the camera's full weight, so use something rated for it on plasterboard.
• Sealant for the cable entry on any external installation.

Is it the same as the white version?

Identical box, black finish. Fixings and camera compatibility are unchanged.

Will it fit my camera?

Only the matching mini dome models. Tell us what you have and we will check before you buy.

Do I need one indoors?

Only if the cable is surface-run. If it comes through the ceiling into the camera base, you do not.
