The Hikvision DS-1283ZJ is a genuine Hikvision wall mounting bracket, holding a camera out from a vertical surface so it can be aimed across the area you want covered.

Who is it for?

Installations where the camera has to go on a wall rather than a ceiling — house elevations, gable ends, shop frontages, the sides of units. Without a bracket a camera fixed flat to a wall looks down at the ground immediately beneath it, which is rarely what anyone wants to record.

The cable runs internally from the wall into the camera base, so the connections stay dry and the finished job looks deliberate rather than improvised.

What you'll need with it

• A matching camera. Hikvision brackets are model-specific — the fixing pattern and neck diameter must line up with the camera base. Send us your camera model and we will confirm before you order.
• Fixings for the substrate — brick, block, render and timber each need a different plug and screw.
• Sealant for the wall entry, which is what actually keeps water out of the cable run.
