Ajax 12-24V PSU (type A) - 59359
12-24V PSU (type A) is a low-voltage power board for the Ajax Hub 2 family and the ReX 2 range extender. It goes inside the hub or extender in place of the mains power board that is fitted as standard, so the device can run from any DC source between 8 and 32 V. That makes it useful where the mains is unreliable or not there at all: a site fed from a 12 V or 24 V standby supply, a vehicle, a boat or a remote outbuilding. The board feeds the hub at 4.8 V, connects through a standard DC jack and comes with a terminal adapter.

Common questions
How is this different from the 12V PSU for Hub 2/ReX 2?
The 12V PSU for Hub 2/ReX 2 accepts 8-20 V DC. This 12-24V PSU (type A) accepts 8-32 V DC, so it can also run from a 24 V supply or battery.
Will it fit my original Ajax Hub (2G) or Hub Plus?
No. Ajax lists it for Hub (4G) Jeweller, Hub 2 (2G), Hub 2 (4G), Hub 2 Plus and ReX 2. The older Hub (2G), Hub Plus and ReX use the 12V PSU for Hub/Hub Plus/ReX or the 12-24V PSU (type B).
What can I power it from?
Any DC source from 8 to 32 V that can supply up to 1 A, for example a 12 V or 24 V power supply, a 12 V or 24 V battery, or the electrical system of a vehicle or boat.
Where does it go?
Inside the hub or ReX 2 housing, in place of the mains power board that the device ships with. Nothing extra is mounted on the wall.
Is it graded for alarm use?
Yes. It is certified to Security Grade 2 and environmental class II under EN 50131, by TREZOR TEST s.r.o.
