Ajax 12V PSU for Hub/Hub Plus/ReX - 17938
The 12V PSU for Hub/Hub Plus/ReX is a low-voltage power board for the original Ajax Hub and Hub Plus control panels and the ReX range extender. It replaces the mains power board inside the device, so the hub or extender can run from a DC source between 8 and 20 V, such as a 12 V power supply or battery. That suits places with an unreliable mains supply or none at all, including vehicles, boats and remote buildings. The board feeds the device at 4.65 V, connects through a standard DC jack and comes with a terminal adapter.

Works with
Ajax Hub, Hub Plus and ReX. It does not fit the Hub 2 family or ReX 2, which take the 12-24V PSU (type A), the 6V PSU (type A) or the 12V PSU for Hub 2/ReX 2.
Common questions
Will it fit a Hub 2 or Hub 2 Plus?
No. This board is for the original Hub, Hub Plus and ReX. For the Hub 2 family and ReX 2, choose the 12-24V PSU (type A), the 6V PSU (type A) or the 12V PSU for Hub 2/ReX 2.
Can I run it from a 24 V supply?
No. The input range is 8 to 20 V DC. For a 24 V source on a Hub, Hub Plus or ReX, Ajax makes the 12-24V PSU (type B), which accepts 8 to 32 V DC.
What can I power it from?
Any DC source from 8 to 20 V that can supply up to 1 A, for example a 12 V power supply, a 12 V battery, or the electrical system of a vehicle or boat.
Where does it go?
Inside the hub or ReX housing, in place of the mains power board the device ships with. Nothing extra is mounted on the wall.
