Ajax Case A (106) - Casing for One Ajax Module
Case A (106) is a plastic casing that houses a single Ajax module on the wall and measures 106 × 168 × 56 mm. Ajax recommends fitting Superior Fibra modules such as Superior LineSplit Fibra, Superior LineProtect Fibra and Superior MultiRelay Fibra inside a Case, which is sold separately. A tamper board comes with the casing: it plugs into the module and reports to the alarm if the lid is opened or the casing is pulled off the wall. Inside there are latches and stoppers to hold the module, tie points for cables and a bubble level, and both the module and the lid can be turned through 180° to suit the cable run. Choose white or black above.

It takes one module. Ajax recommends a Case for Superior LineSplit Fibra, Superior LineProtect Fibra and Superior MultiRelay Fibra, and its NF&A2P approval is for Case A (106) with Superior MultiRelay Fibra fitted.
Is the tamper board included?
Yes. The tamper board is in the box. It connects to the module, which then reports to the system if the lid is opened or the casing is taken off the wall.
Does it come with a module?
No. The box holds the casing, the tamper board, an installation kit and a quick start guide. The module is ordered separately.
Can it be fitted outside?
No. Ajax rates Case A (106) for indoor use only, at -10 °C to +40 °C. For outdoor positions Ajax makes Case E (395), rated IP66.
What if I need to house two modules?
Case A (106) holds one module. Case B (175) is the larger casing in the same range and takes more than one device.
Is it graded for alarm systems?
Yes. Ajax lists it at Security Grade 3 and environmental class II under EN 50131, and against PD 6662:2017.
