Ajax Case B (175) - Casing for One or Two Fibra Modules
Case B (175) is an Ajax plastic casing that holds up to two Fibra modules on an indoor wall, so the module boards sit in a closed, protected box instead of loose in a cupboard or ceiling void. It measures 175 × 225 × 57 mm. A tamper board comes in the box and plugs into one of the fitted modules, so the system reports it if someone opens the lid or pulls the casing off the wall. Inside, plastic latches hold the modules, plastic stoppers protect them, and there are fixing points for tying the cables together. Choose black or white above.

Common questions
How is Case B (175) different from the other Ajax cases?
Case A (106) takes one Ajax module and measures 106 × 168 × 56 mm. Case B (175) takes one or two Fibra modules. Case C (260) takes one module plus a 7 Ah battery, and Case D (430) takes up to eight modules and two 18 Ah batteries.
Does it have a tamper switch?
Yes. A tamper board is in the box. It plugs into a connector on one of the modules you fit, so the system is told if the lid is opened or the casing is taken off the wall.
Are the modules included?
No. Case B (175) is the casing only. The Fibra modules, and the hub they connect to, are sold separately.
Can it go outside?
No. Ajax rates Case B (175) for indoor use only, at -10 °C to +40 °C and humidity up to 75%. For outdoor fitting Ajax makes Case E (395), which is rated IP66.
Is it graded for UK alarm systems?
Yes. It is certified to Security Grade 3 and environmental class II under EN 50131 by TREZOR TEST s.r.o., and is listed against PD 6662:2017.
