Ajax DoorProtect Plus Jeweller - Wireless Door and Window Contact with Shock and Tilt Detection
DoorProtect Plus Jeweller is a wireless contact for doors and windows that also senses force. Next to the reed switch and magnet sits an accelerometer, so as well as reporting an opening it can raise an alarm when the frame is struck or when the door or window it is fitted to tilts past a threshold you set between 5° and 25°. A terminal takes one third-party wired detector with normally closed contacts. It reports to an Ajax hub over the encrypted Jeweller radio and runs for up to five years on one CR123A battery. Choose black or white above.

Works with
Ajax hubs that use the Jeweller radio, such as Hub 2 (2G) Jeweller, Hub 2 (4G) Jeweller and Hub 2 Plus Jeweller. ReX 2 Jeweller can be added to extend the radio range.
Common questions
How is it different from a plain door contact?
It has an accelerometer as well as the reed switch, so it can report a blow to the frame or a change of angle, not just the door or window opening.
Which side does the magnet go on?
Ajax specifies the magnet on the right of the detector, and it can be fitted horizontally. A big and a small magnet are supplied to suit different frames. Do not mount the detector with its LED facing down.
Will a single knock on the door cause an alarm?
Shock sensitivity has 3 levels, and an installer or admin user can set it to ignore a single shock in the Ajax app.
Can I connect a wired contact to it?
Yes. The terminal takes one third-party wired detector with normally closed (NC) contacts, and the terminal is in the box.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 5 years on the CR123A battery that comes fitted.
