Ajax EN54 Fire Hub Jeweller - Wireless Fire Alarm Control Panel
EN54 Fire Hub Jeweller is the control and indicating equipment (CIE) for the Ajax EN54 wireless fire alarm system. Detectors, sounders, visual alarm devices and call points report to it by radio, so no cable has to be run between the panel and each device. The 10.1-inch touch screen on the front shows fire alarms and faults, and after logging in with a code, staff can start an evacuation, reset the system, mute the buzzer, silence or resound the sounders and run an indication test. Events go to the Ajax apps and to a monitoring station over Ethernet, Wi-Fi and two SIM cards at the same time, and two relay outputs can pass fire and fault signals to a monitoring company's equipment. The panel can also take Ajax intrusion devices. It is supplied without its internal battery, so add an EN54 Internal Battery (24h) or (72h). Choose black or white above.
Also listed as 125733 (black) and 125732 (white). Ajax model ID FH.54.J.

Common questions
Is the backup battery included?
No. Ajax supplies the hub without its internal battery. Add an EN54 Internal Battery (24h) for up to 24 hours without mains, or the EN54 Internal Battery (72h) for up to 72 hours.
How many devices can it control?
Up to 200 devices in up to 40 fire zones, with up to 200 users. Each device is addressable, so the panel shows which one raised an alarm or fault.
How does it reach a monitoring company?
Over Ethernet, Wi-Fi or its two SIMs using SIA (DC-09) or SurGard (Contact ID). It also has two relay outputs, one for fire and one for fault, for the monitoring company's own equipment.
Can staff run it on site without a phone?
Yes. After logging in with a code on the touch screen, a user can start an evacuation, silence or resound the sounders, mute the buzzer, reset the system and run an indication test.
Can I install it myself?
In the UK, a commercial fire alarm system is normally designed, installed and commissioned to BS 5839-1 by a competent person. We supply the equipment and can help you put the parts list together.
Where should it be fitted?
Indoors only (IP20), at -10 °C to +40 °C with humidity up to 75%, within reach of a 110-240 V mains supply.
