Ajax Hub 2 (2G) Jeweller - Wireless Alarm Control Panel
Hub 2 (2G) Jeweller is the control panel at the centre of an Ajax wireless alarm. Every Ajax detector, keypad and siren on the system talks to it over the two-way Jeweller radio, and it passes alarms and events on to the Ajax apps and, if you use one, to a monitoring station. It has a wired Ethernet port and two micro-SIM slots for 2G, and it uses them side by side, so the system can still get a message out if the broadband drops. A second radio channel, Wings, brings in photos from Ajax detectors with built-in cameras, so you can see what caused an alarm before deciding what to do. Choose white or black above.

Common questions
What is the difference between Hub 2 (2G) and Hub 2 (4G)?
Both have Ethernet and two SIM slots. This (2G) version uses the 2G mobile network on its SIMs. The Hub 2 (4G) Jeweller can also use 3G and LTE.
What happens if the broadband or the power goes off?
Ethernet and the two SIMs work together, and the hub switches from Ethernet to a SIM instantly if the wired link fails. If the mains fails, the backup battery keeps it running for up to 15 hours.
Can it send a photo when the alarm goes off?
Yes, when it is paired with Ajax detectors that have a camera. Photos come in over the Wings radio channel, 1 to 5 at a time, in up to 9 seconds. You can also ask for a photo on demand, on a schedule or from a scenario.
How many devices and users can it take?
Up to 100 Ajax devices, 50 users, 9 security groups and 50 rooms, with up to 32 automation scenarios.
Can it report to an alarm receiving centre?
Yes. It supports SIA (DC-09), SurGard (Contact ID) and ADEMCO 685. It is certified to Security Grade 2 and listed against PD 6662:2017.
Can I fit it in a garage or outbuilding?
Ajax rates it for indoor use only (IP20), at -10 °C to +40 °C and humidity up to 75%. Choose a dry indoor spot within mains reach.
