Ajax Hub 2 Plus Jeweller - Wireless Alarm Control Panel (White)
Hub 2 Plus Jeweller is the larger of Ajax's Hub 2 control panels. It has room for up to 200 Ajax devices and 200 users, and it can reach the internet three ways: Wi-Fi, Ethernet and two micro-SIM slots covering 2G, 3G and 4G (LTE). All of them run together, and the hub moves between them straight away if one drops. Detectors, keypads and sirens talk to it over the encrypted Jeweller radio, while a second radio, Wings, carries photos from Ajax camera detectors so an alarm can be checked by eye. This listing is the white unit, supplied in the UK plug (type G) version.

Works with
Ajax Jeweller devices, for example MotionProtect Jeweller and DoorProtect Jeweller detectors, KeyPad Plus Jeweller, HomeSiren Jeweller and StreetSiren Jeweller. Photo verification needs a camera detector such as MotionCam Jeweller. ReX 2 Jeweller extends the radio range, and the 6V PSU (type A) or 12-24V PSU (type A) lets the hub run from a low-voltage supply.

How does Hub 2 Plus differ from Hub 2?
Hub 2 Plus adds Wi-Fi as a third way to connect and takes a much larger system: up to 200 devices, 200 users, 25 security groups and 64 scenarios, against 100 devices, 50 users, 9 groups and 32 scenarios on Hub 2 (4G) Jeweller.
Does it need Wi-Fi to work?
No. It can use any mix of Wi-Fi, Ethernet and its two SIM cards. They run in parallel, so if one route fails the hub carries on over the others.
Can it send a photo when the alarm goes off?
Yes, when it is paired with Ajax detectors that have a camera. Photos arrive over the Wings radio, 1 to 5 at a time, in up to 9 seconds.
Can it report to an alarm receiving centre?
Yes. It supports SIA (DC-09), SurGard (Contact ID) and ADEMCO 685, and it is certified to Security Grade 2 with PD 6662:2017 listed.
Does it come with a UK plug?
Yes. This unit (35290) is the plug type G version, which fits standard UK sockets.
Where can it be fitted?
Indoors only. Ajax rates it IP20 for -10 °C to +40 °C and humidity up to 75%.
