Ajax Hub (4G) Jeweller - Wireless Alarm Control Panel
Hub (4G) Jeweller is a straightforward control panel for an Ajax wireless alarm. It links up to 100 Ajax Jeweller devices over the encrypted two-way Jeweller radio and passes alarms and events to the Ajax apps and, if you use one, to a monitoring station. It connects over Ethernet and one micro-SIM slot on 4G (LTE). Both stay active, with most data sent over Ethernet and an instant move to the SIM if the cable link is lost. A 3 Ah Li-ion battery inside keeps it running through a mains cut. It does not work with MotionCam photo detectors, so choose a Hub 2 model if you want photo verification. Available in white or black.

Works with
Ajax Jeweller devices, for example MotionProtect Jeweller and DoorProtect Jeweller detectors, KeyPad Jeweller or KeyPad Plus Jeweller, HomeSiren Jeweller and StreetSiren Jeweller. ReX Jeweller extends the radio range, and the 6V PSU (type A) or 12-24V PSU (type A) lets the hub run from a low-voltage supply.
Common questions
What is the difference between Hub (4G) Jeweller and Hub 2 (4G) Jeweller?
Hub (4G) Jeweller has one SIM slot and no photo verification. Hub 2 (4G) Jeweller has two SIM slots, a Wings radio for photos from MotionCam detectors and up to 32 automation scenarios against 5 here.
What happens if the broadband goes down?
Ethernet and the SIM run side by side, and the hub switches to the 4G SIM straight away, so alarms still get through.
What happens in a power cut?
A rechargeable 3 Ah Li-ion battery inside the hub takes over from the mains.
Can it send photos from camera detectors?
No. Ajax lists MotionCam support as unavailable on this hub. For photo verification choose Hub 2 (4G) Jeweller or Hub 2 Plus Jeweller.
Can it report to an alarm receiving centre?
Yes. It supports SIA (DC-09), SurGard (Contact ID) and ADEMCO 685, and it is certified to Security Grade 2 with PD 6662:2017 listed.
Where can it be fitted?
Indoors only. Ajax rates it IP20 for -10 °C to +40 °C and humidity up to 75%.
