Ajax Hub BP Jeweller - Battery-Powered Wireless Alarm Control Panel (Black)
Hub BP Jeweller is an Ajax control panel made to run without mains power, for premises where mains is not available or not reliable. It works from a 4.2-16 V DC supply, which can be an external battery or power source, or an Ajax internal battery pack fitted inside its casing. It connects over two micro-SIM slots covering 2G, 3G and 4G (LTE) rather than Ethernet, and has connectors for external antennas where the signal is weak. A Wings radio brings in photos at up to 960 × 720 pixels from Ajax camera detectors. This listing is the black unit.

Ajax Jeweller detectors, keypads and sirens, for example MotionProtect Jeweller, DoorProtect Jeweller, KeyPad Plus Jeweller and HomeSiren Jeweller. Camera detectors such as MotionCam Jeweller add photo verification. For power, Ajax makes Internal battery NB (7.2V/95Ah) and Internal battery RB (6.4V/36Ah) for this hub, and ExternalAntenna helps where the signal is weak.

Does it need mains power?
No. It runs from a 4.2-16 V DC source: an external battery or supply, or an Ajax internal battery pack inside the casing.
Which batteries does it take?
Ajax makes two packs for it: Internal battery NB (7.2V/95Ah), ten non-rechargeable cells, and Internal battery RB (6.4V/36Ah), 36 rechargeable LiFePO4 cells. Neither is in the box.
How long will the batteries last?
Ajax quotes up to 18 months on an external battery with every function on, more than 5 years in Battery saving mode, and up to 23 months on an internal battery in Battery saving mode, depending on the pack and settings.
Does it have an Ethernet port?
No. It connects over two micro-SIM slots on 2G, 3G and 4G (LTE). If one SIM loses service it moves to the other within 4 minutes.
Can it send photos?
Yes. With Ajax camera detectors it can send 1 to 5 photos at up to 960 × 720 pixels, on alarm, on demand, on a schedule, on arming or disarming, and on tamper or anti-masking events.
