Ajax Kit 20 S - Superior Wireless Alarm Kit with Hub 2 (2G) Jeweller
Kit 20 S brings the main parts of an Ajax wireless intruder alarm together in one box: a Hub 2 (2G) Jeweller control panel, two Superior MotionProtect Jeweller motion detectors, a Superior DoorProtect Jeweller for the front door, two SpaceControl key fobs, and a pair of sirens, one for outside and one for inside. The detectors and sirens are battery powered and talk to the hub over the encrypted two-way Jeweller radio, so the only cables are mains power and Ethernet to the hub. The hub keeps in touch with the Ajax apps over Ethernet and two 2G SIM slots at the same time. The detectors and sirens are from the Ajax Superior line, and every device in the box is certified to Security Grade 2. Choose black or white above.
Also listed as 109841 (black) and 109842 (white), and as Kit20 S or Kit 20 Superior.

Works with
Other Ajax Jeweller devices can join the same hub, for example KeyPad Plus Jeweller or KeyPad TouchScreen Jeweller for arming at the door, Superior MotionCam (PhOD) Jeweller detectors to add photo verification, and ReX 2 Jeweller to extend the radio range.
Common questions
Does Kit 20 S come with a keypad?
No. You arm and disarm with the two SpaceControl key fobs or the Ajax app. A keypad such as KeyPad Plus Jeweller or KeyPad TouchScreen Jeweller can be added to the hub at any time.
Can this kit send a photo when the alarm goes off?
The Hub 2 (2G) Jeweller supports photo verification, but the two motion detectors in this kit have no camera. Add Superior MotionCam (PhOD) Jeweller detectors, or look at Kit 22 S, which has two of them.
What happens if the broadband or the power goes off?
Ethernet and the two SIMs work in parallel, and the hub moves from Ethernet to a SIM instantly if the wired link drops. If the mains fails, the hub runs for up to 15 hours on its backup battery. The detectors and sirens run on their own batteries.
How much wiring is needed?
The hub needs mains power and, ideally, an Ethernet cable. The detectors, key fobs and both sirens are battery powered. The outdoor siren can also take an external 6-20 V DC supply if you prefer.
Can it report to an alarm receiving centre?
Yes. The hub supports SIA (DC-09), SurGard (Contact ID) and ADEMCO 685.
