Ajax Kit 21 S - Hub 2 (2G) Jeweller Wireless Alarm Kit with Keypad
Kit 21 S puts the Hub 2 (2G) Jeweller control panel together with a set of Ajax Superior devices: two motion detectors, a door contact, a touch keypad and two sirens, one for indoors and one for an outside wall. The Superior KeyPad Plus Jeweller takes codes and also reads encrypted Ajax Pass cards and Tag fobs (sold separately), so each user can arm and disarm in the way that suits them. The hub reports over wired Ethernet and two 2G SIM slots used side by side, and keeps running for up to 15 hours on its own backup battery if the mains fails. The detectors, keypad and sirens are battery powered and talk to the hub over Ajax's encrypted Jeweller radio, so there is no cabling between devices. Supplied in white.
Also listed as 109844 (white, Ajax article 109844.296.WH1), and as Kit21 S.

Works with
Other Ajax Jeweller devices, including Superior and Baseline detectors, keypads, key fobs and sirens, up to the hub's limit of 100 devices. Ajax Pass cards and Tag fobs work with the keypad. Adding an Ajax detector with a built-in camera, such as a MotionCam model, brings photo verification to the system.
Common questions
Are Pass cards or Tag fobs included?
No. The Superior KeyPad Plus Jeweller reads them, but they are sold separately. Users can arm and disarm with a code or the Ajax app without them.
What happens if the broadband or the power fails?
Ethernet and the two 2G SIMs work at the same time, and the hub switches from Ethernet to a SIM instantly. If the mains fails, the hub runs for up to 15 hours on its backup battery. Ajax includes a SIM card only in some regions.
How long do the batteries last?
Ajax quotes up to 5 years for the motion detectors and both sirens, up to 7 years for the door contact and up to 3 years for the keypad, depending on settings.
Can the outdoor siren go on an outside wall?
Yes. The Superior StreetSiren DoubleDeck Jeweller is rated IP54 and works from -25 °C to +60 °C. Ajax suggests mounting it at 2.5 m or higher. The hub and the other devices are for indoor use.
Can it report to an alarm receiving centre?
Yes. The hub supports SIA (DC-09), SurGard (Contact ID) and ADEMCO 685, as well as push notifications, SMS and calls to users.
