Ajax LeaksProtect Jeweller - Wireless Flood Detector
LeaksProtect Jeweller is a small battery-powered sensor that sits on the floor where water is likely to escape: under a washing machine or dishwasher, beside a bath or next to a radiator. It has contact pairs on all four sides, so it reports a leak as soon as water reaches any edge, and it stays on watch whether the alarm is set or not. No screws or brackets are needed. Through an Ajax automation scenario it can tell a WaterStop Jeweller valve to shut off the water supply. It runs on two AAA batteries for up to 5 years. Choose white or black above.

Works with
Ajax hubs and range extenders that use the Jeweller radio, for example Hub 2 (2G) Jeweller. Older hubs may need a firmware update first; ask us if you are unsure. To shut off the water automatically, add a WaterStop Jeweller valve (sold separately).
Common questions
Where should I put it?
On the floor where water would collect first: under a washing machine or dishwasher, by a bath, or next to a radiator. It is made for indoor use.
Does the alarm have to be set?
No. It watches for water 24 hours a day, whether the system is armed or not.
Can it turn the water off?
Yes, with an Ajax WaterStop Jeweller valve fitted to the supply. An automation scenario closes the valve when the detector finds water.
Will it survive sitting in water?
It is rated IP65 and works at humidity up to 100%, from 0 °C to +50 °C.
How long do the batteries last?
Ajax calculates up to 5 years from the two AAA batteries supplied in it.
