Ajax ManualCallPoint (Blue) Jeweller - Wireless Resettable Call Point
ManualCallPoint (Blue) Jeweller is a wireless, call-point-style button for an Ajax system, finished in blue. Instead of glass it has a resettable frangible element: lift the clear lid, press the element and the system responds, then reset it with the special key from the box. You decide what a press does, from starting a scenario to raising a fire, auxiliary, panic, gas leak, water leak or malfunction alarm. The blue version carries no EN 54 certification, so it is meant for alerts other than the building's fire call points; for EN 54-11, Ajax makes ManualCallPoint (Red) Jeweller.

Key features

Works with
Ajax hubs and range extenders that use Jeweller radio, including EN54 Fire Hub Jeweller. In fire mode a press can also trigger the alarms of interconnected Ajax fire detectors on the same system.
Common questions
Is this an EN 54-11 fire alarm call point?
No. Ajax lists EN 54-11 and EN 54-25 for ManualCallPoint (Red) Jeweller only. The blue version carries no EN 54 marks, so use it for other alerts, such as a panic, auxiliary or gas leak alarm, or to start a scenario. In the UK, a commercial fire alarm is normally designed and commissioned to BS 5839-1 by a competent installer.
How do I reset it after it has been pressed?
Use the special tool (key) in the box. The same key releases the button from its SmartBracket, and it has a hole so it can go on a key ring.
What can a press do?
You choose the mode: start an automation scenario, or raise a fire, auxiliary, panic, gas leak, water leak or malfunction alarm. The system can also sound sirens and send critical alerts that come through even on a muted phone.
Will a press be sent to a monitoring station?
Not unless you set it up. Ajax switches alarm transmission to the monitoring station off by default.
Where should it be fitted?
Ajax recommends an easy-to-reach spot at a height of 1.4 m, indoors only, at 0 °C to +50 °C.
Are batteries included?
Yes. Two CR123A batteries are fitted at the factory.
