Ajax MotionCam Outdoor Jeweller - Outdoor Motion Detector with Photo Verification, White
MotionCam Outdoor Jeweller is a wireless motion detector for gardens, driveways and yards that also carries a small camera. When the system is armed and it sees movement, it takes a short series of photos and sends them to the Ajax app and, if you use one, the monitoring station, so you can see what set it off. It uses two PIR sensors, a hood visor and anti-masking, and it runs on four CR123A batteries. Alarms travel over the Jeweller radio and photos over the separate Wings radio.

Common questions
When does it take photos?
When the system is armed and it detects motion, it takes a series of 1 to 5 photos and sends them with the alarm. This version does not take photos on request; Ajax sells PhOD versions for that.
Will passing animals set it off?
Ajax rates it to ignore animals up to 80 cm tall, whatever their weight. Fitting it at the recommended 0.8 to 1.3 m height helps.
Can it see at night?
Yes. The camera has infrared lighting for photos in the dark and in low light.
How long do the batteries last?
Up to 3 years on the four CR123A batteries supplied, or up to 2.5 years with the Delay when entering feature switched on.
Which hub does it need?
