Ajax MotionCam U (PhOD) Jeweller - Motion Detector with Photo on Demand
MotionCam U (PhOD) Jeweller is a PIR motion detector with a camera that can take pictures at more than just alarm time. As well as a photo series when it is armed and sees movement, it can take pictures when you ask for them in the Ajax app, at set times, when the system is armed or disarmed, or when another Ajax detector goes off. Photo on demand, scenario photos and scheduled photos stay off until they are set up. Alarms use the Jeweller radio and photos use Wings, both up to 1,700 m in open space, and a holding screw locks the detector to its SmartBracket. This listing is the white version.
Also listed as 121297 (white). Ajax model ID MC.SPHD.J-000-EU.

Common questions
What does PhOD mean?
Photo on Demand. As well as photos when an alarm is raised, this detector can take pictures when a user asks for them in the Ajax app, depending on the settings.
Does photo on demand affect the battery?
Yes. Ajax rates the two CR123A cells for up to 4 years with photo on demand switched off and up to 3 years with it switched on.
Can it take photos on a timetable?
Yes. Photo by schedule takes pictures at the times you set. It is not set up by default.
Which Ajax hub do I need?
A hub with photo verification over Wings, such as Hub 2 (2G) Jeweller, Hub 2 (4G) Jeweller or Hub 2 Plus Jeweller. Ajax lists Hub (2G) Jeweller and Hub (4G) Jeweller as not supporting MotionCam detectors.
Is it the same as MotionCam (PhOD) Jeweller?
No. Ajax lists MotionCam U (PhOD) Jeweller as its own current model, with model ID MC.SPHD.J-000-EU.
