Ajax MotionProtect Plus Jeweller - Wireless PIR and Microwave Motion Detector
MotionProtect Plus Jeweller is an indoor Ajax motion detector that pairs a PIR sensor with a K-band microwave sensor. With two different sensors checking each movement, a single stray reading is less likely to cause an alarm. It covers up to 12 m, ignores pets up to 20 kg and 50 cm tall, and runs for up to 5 years on one CR123A battery, reporting to the Ajax hub over the Jeweller radio. This listing is the black version.

How is it different from MotionProtect Jeweller?
MotionProtect Jeweller uses a PIR sensor only. The Plus adds a K-band microwave sensor alongside the PIR, so a second, different sensor confirms the movement.
Will my dog or cat set it off?
Ajax quotes pet immunity for animals up to 20 kg and up to 50 cm tall, with the detector mounted at the recommended 2.4 m.
How long does the battery last?
Ajax calculates up to 5 years from one CR123A cell, which comes fitted.
Can it go in a porch or outbuilding?
Ajax rates it for indoor use only, IP50, at -10 °C to +40 °C. For outside, look at MotionCam Outdoor (PhOD) Jeweller or Curtain Outdoor Jeweller.
