Ajax SmartBracket for DoorProtect - 9521
This is a spare white SmartBracket mounting panel for the Ajax DoorProtect Jeweller opening detector, the same type of panel that comes in the detector's box. The panel is screwed to the door or window frame and the detector sits on it, so the detector can be taken off later without unscrewing the panel. The panel also works with the detector's tamper switch: once the detector is seated, its LED flashes, and the system is told if someone takes the detector off the panel. Order it to replace a lost or damaged panel.
Also listed as 9521 (white). Ajax article 9521.03.WH.

Common questions
Does this come with a DoorProtect detector?
No. This is the mounting panel only. DoorProtect Jeweller is sold separately and already includes one SmartBracket panel.
How does the detector fit the panel?
The detector sits on the SmartBracket panel, and the two are separated by sliding the panel down off the detector. When the detector is seated properly, its LED flashes.
Will taking the detector off the panel set off an alarm?
The detector sends a tamper notification when it is removed from the mounting panel or pulled off the surface.
What if the LED does not flash when I fit the detector?
Ajax advises checking the tamper status in the Ajax app, how firmly the panel is fixed and how tightly the detector sits on it.
Is this the same bracket as the one for the magnet?
No. The big DoorProtect magnet uses its own panel, listed separately as Bracket for DoorProtect Magnet (22053).
