Socket (type G) Jeweller is the Ajax smart plug in the UK three-pin format. It goes into a standard wall socket, the appliance plugs into it, and from then on the appliance can be turned on or off from the Ajax app, by timetable, or automatically when the alarm is set, unset or triggered. It carries up to 13 A continuously, which is up to 3 kW on a resistive load at 230 V, and it records the current, voltage, power and energy the appliance uses. A coloured LED frame around the face shows whether the power is on and how much the appliance is drawing. Choose black or white above.

ReX 2 Jeweller can extend the radio range. Button Jeweller, LightSwitch Jeweller and LifeQuality Jeweller can switch it through scenarios.

Yes. This is the type G version, which is the UK three-pin format. Ajax makes other plug types for other countries.

How much can I plug into it?

Up to 13 A continuously, which is up to 3 kW on a resistive load at 230 V. The plug itself uses up to 1.5 W on average.

Can I see how much electricity an appliance uses?

Yes. The Ajax app shows the current, voltage, power and energy used by whatever is plugged in. The totals are kept in non-volatile memory and can be reset in the app.

What protection does it have?

Can it turn something on when the alarm goes off?
