Ajax Superior CombiProtect Fibra - Wired Motion and Glass Break Detector
Superior CombiProtect Fibra puts two detectors into one wired housing: a PIR sensor that picks up a person moving through the room, and a microphone that listens for a window or glazed door being smashed. A room with large windows can be covered by one device on the wall rather than two. It joins the alarm over the Fibra wired bus, which carries both data and power, so it needs an Ajax hub with Fibra lines such as Superior Hub Hybrid. Choose white or black above.
Also listed as 44391 (white) and 46700 (black). Ajax model ID CP.Y.F.
Key features
- PIR motion detection up to 12 m across 88.5°, when fitted at the recommended height of 2.4 m.

Works with
Ajax hubs with Fibra lines: Superior Hub Hybrid (2G), Superior Hub Hybrid (4G), Superior Hub Hybrid 2 and Superior MegaHub. Wireless Ajax Jeweller devices can run on the same system through those hubs.
Common questions
Which hub does it need?
It is a wired Fibra device, so it needs an Ajax hub with Fibra lines: Superior Hub Hybrid (2G), Superior Hub Hybrid (4G), Superior Hub Hybrid 2 and Superior MegaHub. It cannot be paired with a wireless-only hub such as Hub 2 (2G) Jeweller.
What cable does it use, and how far can it run?
It connects to a Fibra line on a 4-core cable. Ajax quotes a line length of up to 2,000 m. The same cable powers the detector, so there are no batteries.
Will a dog or cat set it off?
Ajax rates the motion sensor to ignore animals up to 20 kg and up to 50 cm tall, when it is fitted at 2.4 m and set up as the instructions describe.
What kind of glass can it protect?
Standard and insulated panes from 4 mm thick and tempered glass from 6 mm, with a minimum pane size of 400 × 400 mm, up to 9 m away.
Can it go in a garage or outside?
Ajax designs it for indoor use only (IP50), at -10 °C to +40 °C and humidity up to 75%.
