Ajax Superior DoorProtect Fibra - Wired Door and Window Contact
Superior DoorProtect Fibra is a wired opening detector for doors and windows. The detector fixes to the frame and a magnet to the moving door or sash; two reed switches inside report as soon as the two are pulled apart. It runs on the Fibra wired bus, which carries data and power on the same cable, so there is no battery to change. A terminal on the detector takes one extra wired contact with a normally closed (NC) output, useful for a second door or an existing contact. Choose white or black above.

Common questions
Does it need a battery?
No. It takes its power from the Fibra line it is wired to, at 5-30 V DC.
Which magnet should I use?
Both a big and a small magnet are supplied, so you can pick the one that fits the frame. Ajax says to use only one magnet at a time, on either the left or the right side of the detector.
Can I wire another contact into it?
Yes. It has an input for one extra wired detector with a normally closed (NC) contact.
Which hub does it need?
It needs an Ajax hub with Fibra lines: Superior Hub Hybrid (2G), Superior Hub Hybrid (4G), Superior Hub Hybrid 2 and Superior MegaHub. It cannot be paired with a wireless-only hub.
Can it go on an outside door?
It can protect an outside door, but Ajax designs it for indoor fitting only (IP50), so mount it on the inside of the frame, at -10 °C to +40 °C.
