Ajax Superior DoorProtect Plus Fibra - Wired Opening, Shock and Tilt Detector
Superior DoorProtect Plus Fibra is a wired opening detector from the Ajax Superior range. It joins the Fibra line of an Ajax hybrid hub on 4-core cable and takes its power from that line, so there is no battery to replace. Inside are two reed switches, one for each side, and an accelerometer. As well as reporting a door or window opening, it can raise an alarm when the frame takes a hard knock or the detector is tilted, which suits windows that tilt open. A terminal lets you bring one extra wired NC contact into the system through it. Choose white or black above.
Also listed as 44395 (white) and 44394 (black), and by some suppliers as DoorProtect Plus Fibra. Ajax model ID DP.P.F.

Ajax hubs with a Fibra wired line: Superior Hub Hybrid (2G), Superior Hub Hybrid (4G), Superior Hub Hybrid 2 and Superior MegaHub. It does not connect to Jeweller-only hubs such as Hub 2 (2G) Jeweller.
Common questions
Is this the same as DoorProtect Plus Fibra?
Some suppliers list it under that name. Ajax calls it Superior DoorProtect Plus Fibra, model ID DP.P.F, and it is the item supplied under 44395 (white) and 44394 (black).
What cable and power does it need?
It connects to the Fibra line of an Ajax hybrid hub with 4-core cable and runs from that line at 5-30 V DC, so it has no battery.
Why are there two magnets?
A big and a small magnet are supplied so you can use the one that suits the frame. Fit only one, on the left or the right of the detector; it recognises one magnet on one side.
What are the shock and tilt sensors for?
The accelerometer can raise an alarm if the door or window is struck, or if the detector tilts past the threshold you set between 5° and 25°.
Can I connect another detector to it?
Yes. It has an input for one wired detector with a normally closed (NC) contact.
