Ajax Superior DoorProtect Plus Jeweller - Wireless Opening, Shock and Tilt Detector
Superior DoorProtect Plus Jeweller is a battery-powered opening detector in the Ajax Superior range. It has two reed switches, so the magnet can go on either side, and an accelerometer that adds shock and tilt alarms: it can react when a door or window is struck before it opens, or when a window tilts further than you allow. It ignores very short vibrations to avoid reed chatter, can trigger a chime on an Ajax siren when a door opens while the system is disarmed, and has a terminal for one extra wired NC contact. It talks to the hub over Jeweller with a stated range of up to 3,000 m in open space. Choose white or black above.

Common questions
How is it different from DoorProtect Plus Jeweller?
Going by the Ajax specifications, the Superior version has two reed switches instead of one, a stated radio range of up to 3,000 m instead of 1,200 m, a holding screw, an IK04 impact rating and extra INCERT, SSF and NF&A2P certification.
Why are there two magnets?
A big and a small magnet are supplied so you can use the one that suits the frame. Fit only one, on the left or the right of the detector; it recognises one magnet on one side.
What do the shock and tilt sensors add?
The accelerometer can raise an alarm if the door or window is struck, or if the detector tilts past the threshold you set between 5° and 25°.
Can it chime when someone opens the door?
Yes. With the system disarmed, an Ajax siren can play a chime when the detector registers an opening.
How long does the battery last?
Ajax calculates up to 5 years from one CR123A cell, which comes fitted.
