Ajax Superior GlassProtect Jeweller - Wireless Glass Break Detector
Superior GlassProtect Jeweller listens for the sound of breaking glass and reports it to the Ajax hub. It is part of Ajax's Superior range for professional installations. An electret microphone covers glazing from 0.3 m to 9 m away across a 180° horizontal field, and Ajax's DualTone method is used to tell breaking glass apart from other noises. A terminal for a wired normally-closed detector lets an existing wired contact report through it. It runs on one CR123A battery for up to 7 years and is for indoor use. Choose white or black above.

Which glass does it work with?
Ajax lists standard glass 4 mm, insulated glass 4 mm and tempered glass 6 mm, with a minimum pane of 400 × 400 mm. Ajax does not list other glass types, so ask us before fitting it for laminated or film-covered glass.
How does it avoid false alarms?
It uses Ajax DualTone processing to separate breaking glass from other sounds, and its sensitivity can be set to one of 3 levels to suit the room.
What does Superior mean?
Superior is Ajax's range for professional installations. This detector is Security Grade 2 and also carries INCERT certification.
Can I connect a wired contact to it?
Yes. It has a terminal for one wired detector with a normally-closed (NC) contact.
How long does the battery last?
Ajax calculates up to 7 years from the CR123A battery supplied in it.
