Ajax Superior MotionProtect Plus G3 Jeweller - Grade 3 Wireless PIR and Microwave Motion Detector
Superior MotionProtect Plus G3 Jeweller is a Grade 3 wireless motion detector from the Ajax Superior range. It pairs a PIR sensor with a K-band microwave sensor, which helps it tell a person moving from heat sources and other IR interference, and covers up to 15 m across 90°. An anti-masking system reports any attempt to block its view, and three tamper switches guard the housing. It uses the Superior Jeweller radio and runs on four CR123A batteries for up to four years. Supplied in white.

Common questions
Why does it have a microwave sensor as well as PIR?
The K-band microwave sensor gives a second check on movement alongside the PIR, which helps filter out IR interference.
Which hub do I need for Grade 3?
A hub that uses Superior Jeweller, such as Superior Hub G3 Jeweller, Superior Hub Hybrid 2 or Superior MegaHub.
Is it pet immune?
No. Ajax does not offer pet immunity on this model, so it suits areas without animals.
What is anti-masking?
It detects attempts to block the detector view, for example by covering it, and reports them to the system.
How long do the batteries last?
Up to 4 years on the 4 CR123A batteries that come fitted.
