The Hikvision DS-1284ZJ-M-AC3(OS) is a genuine Hikvision mounting accessory from the Explosion-Proof and Anti-Corrosion series — not the standard bracket range, and priced accordingly.
Who is it for?
Environments where a normal painted-steel bracket would fail long before the camera does: chemical plants, fuel forecourts and tank farms, water and wastewater treatment, food processing wash-down areas, marine and coastal installations, and anywhere subject to salt spray or aggressive cleaning regimes.
In those settings the mount is usually the first thing to go. Corrosion at the bracket lets water into the camera base, and a camera that survives the atmosphere still fails because what is holding it did not. The anti-corrosion range exists to remove that weak point.
Important — check the specification for your site
- Hazardous-area installations are certification-led. If your site requires ATEX, IECEx or a specific zone rating, tell us before ordering and we will confirm the exact certification this part carries against your requirement. Do not assume from the series name alone.
- It must be matched to a compatible camera from the same range — send us your camera model and we will confirm the pairing.
- Fixings and sealing should be specified to the same corrosion standard as the mount, or you reintroduce the weak point you paid to remove.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use this with a standard Hikvision camera?
It is designed around the explosion-proof and anti-corrosion camera range. Send us both model numbers and we will confirm before you order.
Why is it so much more than a standard bracket?
Materials and construction. It is built for corrosive and hazardous environments rather than a domestic wall.
Can you advise on the right specification?
Yes — tell us the environment and any certification your site demands, and we will specify it properly. This is not a part to guess at.
