Hikvision DS-7732NI-M4/24P - 32 Channel 24 PoE 4 Bay 8K NVR

The Hikvision DS-7732NI-M4/24P is a 32-channel Ultra Series network video recorder in a 19-inch 1.5U rack chassis, with twenty-four built-in PoE ports, four SATA bays and 320 Mbps of incoming bandwidth.

Why 24 PoE ports is the useful number

Most 32-channel recorders offer sixteen PoE ports, which leaves half the system needing a switch. This one powers twenty-four cameras directly. On a great many real installations the camera count lands between seventeen and twenty-four — and this is the model that covers those without a separate switch, rack space for it, or another device to fail.

Worth noting the power budget though: 210 W across twenty-four ports, against 200 W across sixteen on the /16P. More ports, barely more power. That works out at roughly 8.75 W per camera if all twenty-four are loaded, which is fine for standard fixed cameras but will not carry a set of PTZs or heated housings. Check the total before ordering.

Who is it for?

Larger sites where the cameras are within reach of the rack: industrial units, schools, retail parks. Thirty-two channels at 320 Mbps in and 400 Mbps out, so several people can review footage remotely without starving the recording.

What you'll need with it

• Hard drives — none are supplied. Four bays at up to 16 TB. At 32 channels, storage decides your retention period — use our CCTV storage calculator before ordering.
• A power check if you are loading all 24 ports. 210 W total is comfortable for standard cameras, tight for anything with a heater or motor. Send us the camera models and we will add it up.
• A switch for channels 25–32 if you are running the full thirty-two cameras.

Frequently asked questions

Can I power all 32 cameras from it?

No — twenty-four PoE ports. Cameras 25 to 32 need a switch. That said, twenty-four covers most systems that never grow to the full thirty-two.

How does it compare to the /16P version?

Eight more PoE ports for only 10 W more budget. If your camera count is between seventeen and twenty-four, this one saves you buying a switch — but do not assume it powers heavier cameras just because it has more ports.

Does it come with hard drives?

No. Four SATA drives up to 16 TB each, supplied separately.

Can I run two monitors?

Yes. HDMI 2 runs independently of HDMI 1 and VGA.
