Hikvision DS-7732NXI-I4/VPro - 32 Channel 4 Bay AcuSeek NVR

The Hikvision DS-7732NXI-I4/VPro is a 32-channel network video recorder in a 1.5U rack chassis, with four SATA bays, 384 Mbps of incoming bandwidth and AcuSeek AI video search on a dedicated second engine.

Important — this model has no PoE ports

The DS-7732NXI-I4/VPro does not power cameras. It has two gigabit network ports and expects PoE switches. At thirty-two channels that is normally the right architecture, but the switches must be budgeted for. If you want sixteen channels powered by the recorder, the DS-7732NXI-I4/16P/VPro is the same machine with PoE on channels 1–16.

The most recording bandwidth in the range — but read the outgoing figure

At 384 Mbps incoming, this and its PoE sibling take more camera bandwidth than anything else here, including the Ultra M-series. That is what lets thirty-two higher-resolution cameras record without being throttled.

The outgoing figure is 256 Mbps — lower than the incoming. That is the ceiling you meet first when several people review footage remotely while the cameras keep recording. Worth knowing before you specify, and it is not a number competitors tend to publish.

What AcuSeek actually changes

Ordinary recorders make you search by time. AcuSearch let you search by target type. AcuSeek lets you describe what you are looking for and returns the matching clips, in plain English, from the recorder itself. Two AI engines run it — one for face recognition and AcuSearch, a second dedicated to AcuSeek — modelling up to 300,000 targets a day.

What you'll need with it

• PoE switches for all thirty-two cameras — typically two 16-port units or a 24-port plus a smaller one.
• AcuSense cameras. AcuSeek and AcuSearch require cameras supporting Hikvision AcuSense with AcuSearch enabled. With older or third-party cameras you are paying for an engine you cannot use — send us your models and we will confirm first.

Frequently asked questions

Does it power my cameras?

No. Use switches, or the DS-7732NXI-I4/16P/VPro which powers channels 1 to 16.

How does it compare to the DS-7732NXI-I4/S?

The S records at 256 Mbps and has no AcuSeek or second engine — 172,800 targets a day rather than 300,000, and 16 TB disks rather than 20 TB. This one adds the AI and half again the recording bandwidth.

Do I need special cameras?

Yes for the AI features. It still records any ONVIF camera; you simply would not get the search.

Does it come with hard drives?

No. Four SATA drives up to 20 TB each, supplied separately.
