OEC-R3H-M — Wall Mount Mifare Card Reader

The Uniview OEC-R3H-M is a wall-mount card reader for Mifare cards, working at 13.56MHz. It has both Wiegand 26/34 and RS485 interfaces, so it can be wired to a controller that accepts either.

What the OEC-R3H-M is for

The OEC-R3H-M reads Mifare cards at up to 5cm and takes less than 1 second to read. It is a card-only reader: its authentication mode is card, with no keypad or password entry. If you need a code as well, look at the OEC-R3H-MK keypad version.

A colour indicator shows the state at the door: steady blue in normal operation, green for 1 second when a card is accepted and red for 1 second when it is refused. The reader is rated IP65 and works from -30°C to 65°C. It measures 129*88*21mm and weighs 134g.

What you will need

You need Mifare cards, a controller or panel that accepts Wiegand 26/34 or RS485 input, and a 12 V DC supply (the reader tolerates ± 25%, and draws 61mA). It mounts on a 115*73mm or 86*86mm junction box. Tell us which controller you use and we will check the interface matches.

Does the Uniview OEC-R3H-M have a keypad?

No. Its authentication mode is card only. The OEC-R3H-MK is the version with a keypad.
