Certification testers for standards-based cabling test reports.
A certification tester measures each link against the cable standard and produces a test report. That report is the proof a client, main contractor or warranty scheme may ask for.
Do I need a certification tester?
- Project requirement: check whether the job spec asks for certified test results.
- Warranty: some cabling warranties need a certified report for every link.
- Everyday checks: a verification tester may be enough.
