Common questions
How far can it see in the dark?
Its infrared lights reach up to 60 m. At night the picture is in black and white. If you want colour after dark, look at BulletCam HL, which adds white LEDs.
How close does someone need to be to be identified?
Ajax gives identification at up to 6.5 m and recognition at up to 13 m with this lens. It can detect movement at up to 65 m.
Is a memory card included?
No. The camera takes a microSD card of up to 256 GB, Class V30 or faster, bought separately. You can also record to an Ajax NVR.
Can my Ajax alarm detectors start a recording?
Yes. You can set a scenario so chosen Ajax detectors make chosen cameras record, and the clip is sent straight to the Ajax mobile or desktop app.
Will it work with a recorder that is not Ajax?
Ajax lists it as conformant with ONVIF Profile G and S, and it supports RTSP, so it can be added to recorders that accept ONVIF cameras.
