Common questions
What is the difference between DomeCam Mini and DomeCam Mini HL?
The HL version adds white LEDs to the infrared, so a scene can be lit and shown in colour at night. It is also a slightly larger housing, 114 × 114 × 67 mm against 113 × 60 mm.
How far does the lighting reach?
Both the infrared and the white LEDs reach up to 15 m, which suits entrances, rooms and close-range outdoor spots.
Where does it store recordings?
On a microSD card in the camera (bought separately) or on an Ajax NVR.
Can it go outside?
Yes. Ajax rates it IP66 and IK08, for -30 °C to +60 °C and humidity up to 90%.
Can my Ajax alarm detectors start a recording?
Yes. A scenario can make chosen Ajax detectors trigger this camera, and the clip goes to the Ajax mobile or desktop app.
