Ajax DomeCam Mini HL (5 Mp/4 mm) - PoE Dome IP Camera, White (126271)
DomeCam Mini HL (5 Mp/4 mm) is a 5-megapixel mini dome with a 4 mm lens, which gives a narrower view of about 75 to 85 degrees and more detail further away than the 2.8 mm version. That suits a path, a doorway seen from across a room or a till point. HL means hybrid lighting: white LEDs and infrared LEDs, each up to 15 m, so night footage can be in colour or black and white. It picks out people, pets and vehicles, has a microphone and a microSD slot, and is powered over the network cable or from 12 V. This listing is the white version, 126271.
Also listed as 126271 (white). Ajax model ID DCM.HL54.W.

Works with
Ajax NVR (8-ch) and NVR (16-ch) recorders, the Ajax apps, other ONVIF Profile G or S recorders, and Ajax intruder alarms: a scenario in the Ajax app can make chosen cameras start recording when an Ajax detector is triggered, and the clip is sent to the mobile or desktop app. Ajax lists the JunctionBox (118×59) and MountCam A1, A2, B1 and B2 mounts as compatible accessories.
Common questions
Should I choose the 4 mm or the 2.8 mm lens?
The 2.8 mm version covers 100-110 degrees for a wide overview. This 4 mm version covers 75-85 degrees, so subjects further away fill more of the picture: Ajax quotes identification at up to 8.6 m.
Does it show colour at night?
It can. The white LEDs light the scene up to 15 m for colour footage, or the infrared LEDs give black-and-white footage up to 15 m.
How do I power it?
Over PoE (802.3af/at) from a switch, injector or recorder, or from a 12 V DC 1 A supply. No power supply is included.
Where does it record?
To a microSD card in the camera (not included) or to an Ajax NVR. It is ONVIF Profile G and S conformant for other recorders too.
Is it suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. It is rated IP66 and IK08 and works from -30 °C to +60 °C.
