Ajax DomeCam Mini HL (8 Mp/2.8 mm) - PoE Mini Dome IP Camera
DomeCam Mini HL (8 Mp/2.8 mm) is a compact wired dome camera with an 8 MP (4K) sensor and two kinds of lighting, infrared and white LEDs, each reaching up to 15 m. The higher resolution gives more detail to zoom into on playback, which helps at tills, doors and reception desks. It is powered by PoE over one network cable or by a 12 V supply, and it is managed in the same Ajax apps as an Ajax alarm. AI detection picks out people, vehicles and pets and can watch for line crossing. It is rated IP66 and IK08 for indoor or outdoor fitting. Choose black or white above.
Also listed as 126272 (black) and 126273 (white). Ajax model ID DCM.HL828.W.

Common questions
Is it 4K?
Yes. Its top resolution is 3840 × 2160 (8 MP), at up to 20 frames per second.
5 MP or 8 MP: which do I need?
Both have the same 2.8 mm lens and the same 15 m lighting. The 8 MP version gives identification at up to 9 m against 6.5 m for the 5 MP version, so choose it when you need more detail.
What does the HL version add?
White LEDs as well as infrared. With the white light on the camera can show the scene in colour at night; with infrared only, night pictures are black and white.
Where does it store recordings?
On a microSD card in the camera (bought separately) or on an Ajax NVR.
Will it work with a recorder that is not Ajax?
Ajax lists it as conformant with ONVIF Profile G and S, and it supports RTSP, so it can be added to recorders that accept ONVIF cameras.
