Ajax IndoorCam - Wi-Fi Indoor Camera with PIR Sensor
IndoorCam is the Ajax camera for inside the home or office. It joins the network over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, so it only needs a socket for the power supply that comes with it, and it streams 2688 × 1520 video across a 110-degree view. A PIR sensor works alongside image analysis to spot movement up to 4 m away, and built-in AI picks out people, pets and vehicles. It has a microphone and a speaker for two-way talk, with noise suppression and echo cancelling. When it is added to an Ajax hub it also links over the Jeweller and Wings radio, which carries alarms, events and photos as a backup to Wi-Fi. Footage goes to an Ajax NVR or Ajax Cloud storage. Choose black or white above.
Also listed as 138540 (black) and 138541 (white). Ajax model ID IC.Y.W.

Works with
Ajax hubs (as a Jeweller and Wings device), Ajax NVR (8-ch) and NVR (16-ch) recorders, Ajax Cloud storage and the Ajax apps. A scenario in the Ajax app can make it start recording when an Ajax detector is triggered.
Common questions
Does it need a network cable?
No. It connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n). It does need mains power through the 12 V supply in the box.
Where is the video stored?
On an Ajax NVR or in Ajax Cloud storage. Ajax does not list a memory card slot for this camera.
Can I talk through it?
Yes. It has a microphone and a 65 dB speaker for two-way talk, with noise suppression and echo cancelling always on.
What does the PIR sensor add?
The PIR sensor detects body heat moving up to 4 m away, working alongside image analysis so that motion detection does not rely on the picture alone. Its sensitivity has three levels, set in the Ajax app.
What happens if the Wi-Fi drops?
When the camera is added to an Ajax hub, it keeps a Jeweller and Wings radio link to the hub, which carries alarms, events and photos as a backup. Loss of Wi-Fi can be detected from 30 seconds.
Can it be fitted outside?
No. Ajax rates it IP20 for indoor use only, from 0 °C to +40 °C, and advises keeping it out of direct sunlight.
