Ajax MountCam A2 - 174 mm Wall Mount for Wired Ajax IP Cameras

MountCam A2 is a 174 mm wall bracket for wired Ajax IP cameras. It holds the camera out from the wall so you can clear eaves, pillars or corners and aim it where it needs to look. The A2 has an adapter for cameras with a motorised varifocal lens, so as well as the standard and HL cameras it takes the HLVF models, apart from BulletCam HLVF. Fixing points are pre-drilled for both the wall and the camera, the screws are captive, and there is room inside to tidy the cables. Slots for straps let you fix it to a pole, and a holding screw secures it to a bracket. It suits indoor and outdoor use and is sold without a camera. Choose white or black above.

Common questions

What is the difference between MountCam A1 and MountCam A2?

MountCam A2 is 174 mm long, against 164 mm for the A1, and it adds an adapter for cameras with a motorised varifocal lens. That lets it take the HLVF cameras, which the A1 does not.

Does it fit BulletCam HLVF?

No. Ajax states that BulletCam HLVF does not fit MountCam mounts. Superior BulletCam HLVF is on the compatible list.

Can it go on a pole?

Yes. It has slots for straps to fix it to a pole. Straps are not listed in the box.

Is a camera included?

No. Ajax sells MountCam A2 separately from its cameras.

Can it be used outside?

Yes. Ajax rates it for indoor and outdoor use, from -40 °C to +60 °C.
